The event which took place at the company’s premises in Abimbola Street, Isolo, Lagos was tagged, 2010 World Cup Dealers Delight. According to the Commercial Manager, Femstar and Company Limited, Mr. Tunde Iyowu, the raffle draw was organised in the spirit of the just concluded World Cup to encourage diligent dealers who have been doing business wish the company.“We felt our dealers, having worked hard should be able to enjoy their benefits too. So we felt the best way they can enjoy it is to have either a television or a generating set,” Iyowu told TheNEWS.

Asked how the company determined those who were eligible to participate in the raffle draw, Iyowu said.the customers were given  targets that they should meet for the month of June. Those who met those targets were categorised into three groups and given tickets which they would use to run the raffle.

And to ensure that the raffle draw was devoid of foul play, the names of the eligible participants were called out based on the category they fell into and were issued numbered tickets. Those tickets were later put in a drum which was rolled to make sure that the tickets were mixed up. And the owner of each ticket that was picked radomly eventually became the winner of either a television set or a generating set, depending on the category they belonged in. To ensure that as many customers as possible won the prizes, nobody was allowed to win more than one prize. And the end of the raffle draw, all the customers who participated were not just joyous, they were uanimous about its fairness.

One of the lucky winners, Mr. Peter Okafor of Berian Commercial Stores in Alabarago Market in Lagos expressed his appreciation to the company for its kind gestures.“I want to seize this opportunity to thank almighty God who has made it possible for this promotion to be done by Limca. And I want to express my gratitude to the company. Its kind gesture will go a long way to motivate us. It is said to whom much is given, much is expected. Now they have motivated us to forge ahead and do more than what we were doing before,” he enthused.
